Chelsea’s fantastic bid for Higuain denied by Juventus

Getting a report that Juventus declined a Euro 100 million bid submitted by Chelsea to Gonzalo Higuain, the media claim.

The Old Lady is known to spend 90 million Euros to activate a release clause in her contract from rivals Serie A, Napoli a year ago.

According to the Turin newspaper, Juve are now receiving a 100 million Euro proposal from Antonio Conte’s side in the transfer window this summer.

Higuain or who is familiarly called Pipita will be 30 in December and under contract with Massimiliano Allegri’s club until June 2021.

During his tenure at Partenopei in 2015-16, he destroyed the all-time Serie A record by scoring 36 goals in a single season.

The latter he bagged 24 top-scoring goals, plus three in the Coppa Italia and five in the Champions League.

Chelsea want the name of the star as their new player after losing Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United.
